Melissa A. Carroll is a Diné studio artist with a BFA in traditional painting. Rooted in emotion, nature, and the balance of light and shadow, their work feels both earthy and a little haunted. Working mostly at night, they create across multiple mediums, guided by instinct and memory. Their art centers people, animals, and the quiet stories that live in-between. For them, art isn’t just expression—it’s their oldest friend.
